The Testing Task Force is holding stakeholder research sessions at upcoming professional conferences of affiliated organizations, including at the ABA 2019 Midyear Meeting in Las Vegas, the 2019 AALS Annual Meeting in New Orleans, and the 2019 UBE Forum in San Antonio. Attendees at those conferences may register to participate in a session by visiting the Upcoming Events section of the Task Force’s website.
ACS Ventures LLC (ACS) is leading the stakeholder research sessions as part of the first phase of the Task Force’s study. The sessions are designed to gather input from legal professionals, legal educators, bar admission agencies, state supreme courts, bar leaders, law students, and other stakeholders about perceptions of the current bar examination and about the future direction of the bar examination in a changing legal profession.
“Stakeholder input is fundamental to the Testing Task Force’s study,” said Hon. Cynthia L. Martin, the chair of the Task Force. “We want to be certain that voices from across the profession are heard. This study will help ensure the continued quality and relevance of the bar exam in the years to come; the results will be important for everyone who cares about the future of legal licensure and the legal profession.”
